“How does one become a butterfly?”

“How does one become a butterfly?” Pooh asked pensively. “You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar,” Piglet replied. “You mean to die?” asked Pooh. “Yes and no” he answered. “What looks like you will die, but what’s REALLY you will live on.” -A.A. Milne

Since my family gave me a pile of old Russian music sheets I have a new afternoon hobby - "illustrating" a story and this is one of them.

Lots of blue and no blues

Today was a happy sunny day. I took a long walk and found a little house with old lace curtains; it looks just like in fairy tale. Then back home to finish a piece of jewellery and to make some delicious hot chocolate. My recipe is simple - only fresh organic milk and chocolate from Spain. “yesterday you told me 'bout the blue, blue sky...

and all that i can see is just another lemon tree” Our little citrus tree has several fruits while it is still blossoming. It fills living room with a delightful aroma and me with a dreamy mood. Being inspired by citrus magic I created this little necklace for the time when we will wear long floral cotton or silk dresses, walk barefoot and drink cocktails with berries.

looking forward to the spring

A friend of mine sent me an email asking to send her a picture of my cat to keep her cosy in Madrid. Cats are the best to make themselves comfortable no mater what is going on. But these days even our cat is looking forward to the spring to come. So far there is still plenty of snow outside.

Last weekend we went for a walk by the river. The river is still frozen and meadows are covered with snow. It seems like people don’t usually take this route but hares do). Back home I created these little earrings.

summer necklace
It is my first post here! Today was a wonderful day at studio filled with sun and lots of work. It is a pleasure to work in a place with many windows . Day light always inspires me and sun makes me happy. The result is this summer necklace which is made of vintage lace, beads and silk ribbon.
And I cant though away this bouquet as I think it still looks beautiful even when all tulips are dry.
