If I would not create pieces with lace I would run a cafe with my sister, serving delicious cakes ant tea. And our permanent guest will be Alex :)
Baking is like a meditation. But in case of ginger biscuits you dont need to practice in order to succeed. This recipe is very simple and quick.
Ginger biscuits from Jamie magazine
Makes 12
Preheat oven 180C. Mix 150g self raising flour with 50g butter, 50g dark brown sugar, 3tbsp golden syrup (I put honey instead) 1 tsp ground ginger and a pinch each of salt and mixed spice. Divide dough into 12 equal-sized pieces and arrange on a baking tray, spaced apart. Bake for 12 min, or until cooked and golden.
